Courts and Prosecutor’s Offices Established in New Districts of Turkmenistan

The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree to establish certain district courts in the Ahal, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary provinces.

Accordingly, within the total number of judges and court staff across all courts of Turkmenistan, the following district courts are to be established:

1. Altyn Asyr District Court of Ahal Province;
2. Garashsyzlyk and Gubadag District Courts of Dashoguz Province;
3. Dowletli, Farap, and Garabekewul District Courts of Lebap Province;
4. Oguzhan District Court of Mary Province.

Additionally, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Serdar Berdimuhamedov, issued a decree creating prosecutor’s offices in certain districts of the country. According to the document, within the total number of staff of Turkmenistan’s prosecutor’s offices, the following were established:

• Prosecutor’s Office of Altyn Asyr District in Ahal Province;
• Prosecutor’s Offices of Garashsyzlyk and Gubadag Districts in Dashoguz Province;
• Prosecutor’s Offices of Dowletli, Farap, and Garabekewul Districts in Lebap Province;
• Prosecutor’s Office of Oguzhan District in Mary Province.
