The labor collective of the "Cheper" sewing factory in the city of Dashoguz, under the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, produced goods worth over 11 million 716 thousand manats in the first seven months of this year.
The enterprise manufactures various types of clothing for children and adults, bedding items, and household textiles. The main share of production consists of special clothing, including workwear, tailored to the orders of various institutions and organizations.
The high quality of the products, durable stitching, and modern design ensure their continuous demand. Strong and eco-friendly materials made from local raw materials are widely used in production.
The use of modern equipment at the enterprise, which enables many manufacturing operations to be performed with high precision, helps increase the labor productivity of the seamstresses. Ongoing efforts are also made to expand the product range and introduce new models according to consumer preferences.
The sewing factory's labor collective aims to maintain high production paces moving forward. The enterprise plans to produce goods worth more than 21 million manats by the end of the year.
Dashoguz velayat is one of Turkmenistan's major cotton-growing regions, possessing vast opportunities for the deep processing of local cotton. Several ginning enterprises operate efficiently in the velayat, alongside large spinning mills in the city of Dashoguz and the Koneurgench etrap. The products manufactured there are also in high demand on foreign markets.
In recent years, thanks to the state policy aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and favorable conditions created for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, the number of private garment enterprises in the velayat has been growing.
The development of the textile and garment industry in Dashoguz velayat increases the level of local raw material processing, creates new jobs, and boosts the production of competitive goods in domestic and foreign markets.
