
The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, will visit Turkmenistan on a working visit on May 21–22. This was reported by the press service of the Government of Kyrgyzstan.
As noted in the report, during this visit, organized on behalf of the Government led by Akylbek Japarov, the delegation of Kyrgyzstan will participate in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which will be held in Ashgabat.
Within the framework of the working visit, the Kyrgyz government representative is also expected to hold bilateral talks with the leadership of Turkmenistan. The meetings will discuss the current status and future of cooperation between the two countries in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian fields, as well as crucial issues of multilateral relations within regional and international organizations.
As a reminder, the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government will be held on May 22 in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. Previously, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during a Government meeting, instructed the relevant officials to ensure a high organizational level for this international event.
