Development of Road Infrastructure: Safety and Comfort of Movement

Significant work on expanding and maintaining the highway network of the country's northern region is being carried out by the team of the Dashoguz Velayat Road Maintenance Administration.

These days, its specialists are busy modernizing a section of the road leading to the "Zakhmetkesh" farmers' association in the Boldumsaz etrap. Here, the roadbed has been reconstructed over a stretch of 1.5 kilometers, and asphalt laying is currently underway.

Similar measures are being carried out on separate sections of several other roads in the rural areas of the Boldumsaz and Akdepe etraps, as well as in the city of Dashoguz.

During the current year, the Administration's specialists are to perform a large volume of relevant work in various parts of the region. The necessary materials are mainly provided by the asphalt plant located in the Gubadag etrap.

Dashoguz velayat possesses a developed road and transport infrastructure. The presence of necessary conditions in the region for expanding and maintaining the network of transport arteries and communications, along with the annual work conducted by various specialized institutions, contributes to a consistent increase in cargo and passenger traffic volumes, as well as improved safety and comfort on the roads.
