
Last week, at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (GTSBT), Turkmen entrepreneurs concluded deals for the domestic market totaling 253,664,200 manats.
Local entrepreneurs purchased petroleum products, wheat flour, polypropylene, and various types of textile products for the internal market. Official Turkmen media reported this on Monday.
For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, India, Serbia, and Turkey purchased liquefied gas produced by the "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern, as well as petroleum products and polypropylene produced by the "Türkmennebit" State Concern.
Additionally, "B" grade urea produced by the "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern, Portland cement produced at the enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, and textile products manufactured by the enterprises of Turkmen entrepreneurs were sold. Licorice root thick extract and wheat were also traded. The total value of these transactions amounted to 14,611,710 US dollars.
A total of 24 transactions were registered during last week's trades at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
