
Turkmen designer Göwher Guwerne-Pirkuliýewa presented a joint collection with French designer Claude Patrick at the “Oriental Fashion Show” held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from February 4 to 8. This was reported on the official social media pages of the event.
The joint collection combined elements of traditional Turkmen weaving with contemporary European fashion approaches. The fashion show was part of the international program of the “Oriental Fashion Show,” aimed at fostering dialogue among designers from different countries and cultures.
Göwher Guwerne-Pirkuliýewa is known for her works that harmoniously blend national motifs with contemporary aesthetics. Her professional experience includes studying and working in Paris and Saint Petersburg, as well as participating in international projects.
French designer Claude Patrick, as part of the collaboration, focused on simple shapes and modern silhouettes, giving the designers ample opportunity to create a harmonious collection.
Founded in 2004, the “Oriental Fashion Show” is an international event that has introduced over a hundred designers from 50 countries. Today, the event continues to promote dialogue among cultures in the fashion industry.
