Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov handed Xi Jinping an invitation to visit Turkmenistan

During a friendly visit to China, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, handed Chinese President Xi Jinping an invitation letter from President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to visit the country at any time convenient for him.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the cooperation between Turkmenistan and China in the international arena will continue to develop and strengthen, noting that all necessary conditions have been created for this through the consistent efforts of both parties. This was reported by the official media of Turkmenistan on Wednesday.

The President of the PRC emphasized that Turkmenistan is China's most reliable partner in Central Asia, and that China highly values and supports the country's policy of permanent Neutrality.

Furthermore, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan pointed out that new opportunities for cooperation in the transport and logistics sector are emerging within the framework of aligning Turkmenistan's "Revival of the Great Silk Road" strategy with China's "Belt and Road" initiative.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping expressed confidence that Turkmen-Chinese relations, rooted in the era of the ancient Great Silk Road, will continue to develop across a wide range of areas for the benefit of the peoples of both countries, and exchanged their best wishes.
