Healthcare Workers Honored in Lebap

A festive event dedicated to Turkmenistan’s Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers was held at the Lebap Multi-Profile Hospital. The event was jointly organized by the Lebap Regional Health Directorate, the primary organizations of the Health Workers’ Trade Union of Turkmenistan, and the Turkmenabat City Council.

The celebration was attended by representatives of the regional healthcare system, employees of the S.A. Niyazov “Buyan” Agro-Industrial Complex in Turkmenabat, as well as teachers and students from the Turkmenabat Medical Vocational School.

During the event, commemorative gifts were presented to healthcare workers who had distinguished themselves in implementing the objectives of the “Saglyk” (Health) State Program and in providing high-quality medical services to the population.

Experienced doctors also delivered speeches at the ceremony. In their remarks, they noted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the “Saglyk” State Program and highlighted that effective efforts have been carried out across all districts and cities of the country to improve the healthcare system, implement new methods of disease prevention and treatment, and that notable achievements have been made in this field.
