During the past week's trades at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, a total of 59 transactions were registered. The total value of contracts concluded with foreign business circles exceeded 224,000 US dollars.
In the course of the trading sessions, representatives of business circles from Turkey and Serbia purchased cotton yarn and licorice root extract produced by Turkmen enterprises.
On the domestic market, products manufactured by the enterprises of the "Türkmennebit" State Concern were in high demand. Local entrepreneurs purchased petroleum road bitumen, polypropylene, petroleum coke, cotton fabric, and raw silk worth a total of over 428 million 978 thousand manats.
The results of the exchange trades demonstrate strong demand for petrochemical products on Turkmenistan's domestic market while simultaneously showing the ongoing interest of foreign partners in Turkmen goods.
The implementation of export-import operations for various types of industrial and agricultural products during the recent trades highlights the crucial role of the country's commodity and raw materials exchange in domestic and international trade relations.
