In 2025, 370,000 Turkmen Citizens Visited Uzbekistan

In 2025, Turkmenistan was among the leading countries in terms of citizens visiting Uzbekistan. According to the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, 370,000 Turkmen traveled to the neighboring country during the reporting period.

As a result, Turkmenistan ranked sixth in the number of citizens traveling to Uzbekistan. Kyrgyzstan led the list with 3.3 million visitors, followed by Tajikistan (2.7 million), Kazakhstan (2.7 million), Russia (984.4 thousand), and Afghanistan (476.7 thousand).

Overall, Uzbekistan received 11.7 million foreign tourists last year, which is 46.8% higher compared to 2024.
