In the Hearth of Art and Creativity: Youth of Hojambaz Honor National Values
During the concluding 2025-2026 academic year, as in other parts of our country, effective work was carried out in the educational and upbringing institutions of the Lebap province to test and improve the creative abilities of the younger generation, along with providing them with a modern education. The noble works established in this direction at the Hojambaz district children and youth creativity center are worthy of special praise.
Currently, a total of 27 clubs in 10 directions are actively operating at the creativity center. These clubs hold a significant place in firmly integrating the noble national and hardworking traditions, and ancient craftsmanship practices of our people into the lives of young people. More than 1,800 young people who show interest regularly attend these clubs organized on the basis of secondary schools in the district, consistently enhancing their professional skills and practical habits. As a result, boys and girls who have entered art and creativity since childhood perfectly acquire their first theoretical and practical knowledge in the clubs of their masters.
The contribution of experienced master club leaders is immense in organizing the educational and upbringing work properly and modernly at the creativity center. In particular, teachers such as Hanymgul Matekowa, Guljan Hudayberenowa, Ogulay Yanyýewa, Leyla Charyýewa, and Oguljan Jangulyýewa spare no effort in teaching girls the secrets and fine techniques of artistic crafts for women. In the national embroidery club here, students are thoroughly taught the ancient and modern methods of weaving Turkmen carpets, kilims, and palases.
In addition, as a result of the noble labor of the skilled master Myrat Hasiýetow, who has been continuing the profession of bagshy (folk singer) and musician for more than 40 years, many young people of the district are deeply entering the rich music and song art of our people and mastering the techniques of performing national songs with great enthusiasm.
These extensive works carried out in the creativity center serve as an effective foundation for the younger generation to grow up nationally proud, spiritually mature, and hardworking.
