In Turkmenistan, women who gave birth to 8 or more children were awarded the honorary title "Ene mähri"

Yesterday, on the occasion of International Women's Day, following the instructions of the Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a ceremony was held in Ashgabat to present the insignia of the honorary title of Turkmenistan "Ene mähri" (Mother’s Tenderness) to mothers who have given birth to and raised eight or more children, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan. This was reported in the "Watan" news program.

As noted, various state benefits are provided to women in Turkmenistan. Conditions are created for them to live and work at a modern level. As a result, the role of women in social and political life is actively increasing. This is an important condition for the sustainable development of Turkmen society. During the ceremony, the women who were awarded the honorary title "Ene mähri" expressed their words of gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the President of Turkmenistan.
