
An international conference of think tanks from C6 format countries, titled "C6: One Region, Common Future — Strengthening Strategic Dialogue," was held in Baku, organized by the Center of Analysis of International Relations of Azerbaijan.
According to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the conference was attended by Sh. Shiriyev, Head of the Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations, G. Elyasov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan, members of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, heads and staff of foreign diplomatic missions, as well as leading experts and representatives of think tanks from C6 countries.
During the event, issues of strengthening regional cooperation, expanding strategic dialogue, and ensuring sustainable development in today's complex geopolitical situation were discussed.
Speakers noted that the C6 format plays a vital role in deepening cooperation between states, strengthening mutual trust, and developing effective collaboration mechanisms at the regional level.
Special attention was paid to issues related to transport and logistics connectivity, economic cooperation, energy security, sustainable development, and regional security. The speeches emphasized that the C6 format is not only a platform for exchanging views but is also becoming an effective tool for the practical development of interregional cooperation.
