As part of Turkmenistan's chairmanship in the CIS, a coordination meeting of the jury for the interstate television film contest "Horse Pace: Power and Beauty" was held. This large-scale creative project is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The project, initiated by Turkmenistan, aims to develop humanitarian cooperation and promote the national cinematography of CIS member states. The Akhal-Teke horse, the national pride of the Turkmen people, serves as a perfect symbol for strengthening cultural ties across the region.
The submission of entries began in February, and the project's culmination will be an award ceremony scheduled for October 2026 in the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone. The jury includes leading film industry representatives, art historians, and equestrian experts from various CIS countries, including Sahysalyh Bayramov and Pygy Bayramdurdyyev.
During the online meeting, the jury members agreed on selection criteria and technical cooperation issues. Organizers are confident that the contest will become a prestigious platform for professional exchange and cultural proximity within the CIS media space.
