An international exhibition dedicated to the achievements and development prospects of the healthcare, education and sports sectors has opened up new opportunities for strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions and deepening the integration of Turkmenistan’s education system into the international scientific community.

Held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the international exhibition brought together representatives of government institutions, the country’s business sector and leading foreign companies. The event demonstrated the international community’s interest in advancing cooperation in the humanitarian, scientific and educational fields.

The exhibition’s education section featured a broad presentation of leading universities and research centres from Russia, Belarus, China, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, Italy, Malaysia, Türkiye, Georgia and other countries.

Today, the rapid development of digital technologies and changes in the labour market are increasing the importance of training highly qualified professionals, developing human capital and establishing direct links between higher education institutions. In this context, the international exhibition served as an important platform for exchanging educational experience and establishing new partnerships.

Representatives of foreign higher education institutions provided prospective students, university students and young researchers with information about modern approaches to professional training, joint grant programmes, dual-degree projects and opportunities to gain academic experience abroad.

The innovative educational platforms and modern teaching and methodological developments showcased at the exhibition offer new opportunities for integrating Turkmen youth into the international scientific and educational community. Such initiatives can help young people develop professional skills, become familiar with leading global educational practices and participate in international scientific cooperation.

The business programme, organised with the participation of TurkmenExpo, one of the event’s co-organisers, included B2B and B2G meetings, expert discussions and presentations of modern technologies. These meetings created opportunities for institutions and higher education establishments to exchange experience and discuss future initiatives involving joint scientific research, professional development for teachers and the expansion of cooperation in education.

The international exhibition in Ashgabat once again highlighted the importance of developing international educational cooperation, learning about advanced teaching methods and training highly qualified young professionals. Events of this kind can contribute to expanding the international relations of Turkmenistan’s education system and intensifying the exchange of scientific knowledge.
