International University of Oil and Gas included in “THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026”

The British agency Times Higher Education (THE) has announced the results of the “THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026,” assessing universities' contributions to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2026, nearly 1,646 universities from 116 countries participated. For the first time in the history of Turkmenistan's higher education system, three national universities were included in the ranking. The Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, participating for the fifth consecutive year, reaffirmed its leading position in education, science, and innovation, showing significant improvements in SDGs 4, 7, and 9.
