Investing $60 Billion

American graphics processor manufacturer Nvidia, the Microsoft corporation, and the technology company Amazon are in talks to invest up to $60 billion in OpenAI. The Information reports, citing sources familiar with the negotiations. These investments will be part of a funding round totaling $100 billion. Nvidia plans to contribute up to $30 billion, while Microsoft is expected to allocate around $10 billion. Amazon will fund the company for the first time, providing more than $10 or $20 billion. The investments will complement $30 billion contributed by Japan’s international holding company SoftBank Group, which is also negotiating funding details. On November 2, 2025, Bloomberg analysts described Nvidia’s shares as some of the most influential in Wall Street history. The company set a historic record, becoming the first in the world with a market capitalization of $5 trillion.
