
A job fair was held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, at the building of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on Saparmurat Turkmenbashi Avenue. The event brought together 89 organizations, enterprises, companies, and private entrepreneurs, offering a total of 3,830 job vacancies.
As a result of the fair, approximately 100 people were employed, and 54 job seekers were hired directly on the day of the event.
The organizers included the Ashgabat Department of Labor and Employment, labor and employment offices of Bagtyyarlyk, Berkararlyk, Buzmeyin, and Kopetdag districts, as well as the city committee of the Turkmenistan Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Party.
Among the employers were “Petronas” (13 vacancies), sewing association “Bahar” (19 vacancies), and “Avtoyoly Group” holding (about 40 engineering, technical, and labor positions). Vacancies were also offered by the Ministry of Railway Transport, central office of “Türkmenenergo,” State Circus, and enterprises in housing, communal services, and healthcare sectors.
Job seekers had the opportunity to review the vacancies displayed on informational stands in Turkmen and Russian, speak with company representatives, and attend interviews. A large part of the participants were young people, including recent school graduates.
Job fairs at the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs building are held regularly.
