Last Semifinalist of the 2026 Turkmenistan Football Federation Cup Revealed

The final semifinalist has been determined in the ongoing Turkmenistan Football Federation (TFF) Cup tournament in the capital. The team is "Ashgabat" FC. This result was announced following the final matches in Group "B".

In the group's opening match, the "Arkadag" team, which had already secured its place in the semifinals, defeated "Merv" 3-0 and took first place in the standings with 9 points. Begench Akmammedov (18th minute), Dayanch Meredov (57th minute), and Resul Hojayev (68th minute) scored for the winning side.

In another match for the last ticket to the semifinals, "Ashgabat" defeated the Turkmenistan U-20 national team 1-0, thanks to a precise strike by Didar Didarov in the 55th minute, securing second place with 6 points.

As a reminder, from Group "A," "Shagadam" (7 points) qualified for the semifinals in first place, and "Ahal" (4 points) in second place.

Consequently, the first semifinal will feature "Shagadam" vs. "Ashgabat," and the second will see "Arkadag" vs. "Ahal."

The winners of the semifinals will compete for the main prize in the final on March 12. On the same day, the losing teams will determine the bronze medalist in a match for 3rd place. All matches of the 2026 TFF Cup are being held at the central pitch of the Ashgabat Multi-purpose Stadium.
