MAI begins accepting documents for applicants from Turkmenistan

The Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) has announced the commencement of admissions for applicants from Turkmenistan for bachelor's, specialist, and master's degree programs. The admissions committee for foreign citizens will open on June 20, 2026, and the document submission process will continue until August 15. This was reported by the "Russian House" (Russkiy Dom) Telegram channel in Ashgabat.

From April 18 to April 26, the university is conducting an online Olympiad for foreign citizens. Winners of the Olympiad will receive an additional 10 points toward their entrance exam results, while runners-up will receive 8 points. Registration is available at olympiad.mai.ru.

MAI offers training in a wide range of fields:

• Aircraft Engineering;
• Rocket Complexes and Astronautics;
• Aircraft and Helicopter Construction;
• Aircraft Engines;
• Radio-Electronic Systems;
• Information Technologies;
• Applied Mathematics;
• Materials Science;
• Economics and Management.

Currently, more than 1,900 foreign students are studying at the institute. The university provides dormitory accommodation for out-of-town students and offers support throughout all stages of their studies.
