Medvedev: cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan serves the interests of strengthening regional stability and security

In a New Year congratulatory message to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev emphasized that cooperation between Moscow and Ashgabat serves the interests of strengthening stability and security in Central Asia and the Caspian Sea region.

“Please accept my sincere New Year greetings! Over the past year, the deepened strategic partnership between Russia and Turkmenistan has been consistently developing across all areas. I am confident that bilateral cooperation serves the interests of the sustainable socio-economic development of our states, as well as strengthening stability and security in Central Asia and the Caspian Sea region,” Medvedev noted in his message.
