Meeting Held Between the Hyakim of Ashgabat and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan

The Hyakim (Mayor) of Ashgabat, Rahim Gandymov, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Ravshanbek Alimov, reports the "Dunyo" news agency.

The parties emphasized that Turkmen-Uzbek relations are developing steadily across all sectors, and cooperation between the capital cities is actively strengthening.

During the meeting, issues regarding the implementation of the twin-cities agreement, expansion of trade and economic relations, increasing mutual visits of delegations, joint implementation of investment projects, and increasing the number of cultural and humanitarian events were discussed.

Special attention was given to the "Tashkent" park in Ashgabat and the "Ashgabat" park in Tashkent, which were highlighted as symbols of friendship between the two nations.

The parties also discussed proposals for holding cultural events dedicated to important national dates.

During the meeting, interest in intensifying mutual participation in international forums and events was confirmed.
