Microsoft Corporation has launched a major security update addressing more than 400 errors and vulnerabilities across its Windows operating systems. The new update was released on August's Patch Tuesday—the second Tuesday of the month, when the tech giant traditionally rolls out its monthly patch collection.

Microsoft strongly urges users to immediately install the update, which fixes security flaws identified in Windows 11 (versions 25H2, 24H2, and 23H2), Windows 10, as well as Office, Exchange, Azure, and SharePoint services.

Cybersecurity experts at Action1 reported that one of the patched zero-day vulnerabilities allowed hackers to gain complete remote control over a target system without the user's knowledge. According to ZDNet, users can apply the patch by navigating to Settings → Windows Update and initiating the installation process right away.
