Microsoft focuses its Central Asia strategy on AI — New Regional Leader

Microsoft Corporation has officially announced the appointment of Gabriela Popescu as the Regional Manager responsible for Romania, Moldova, and Central Asian countries. This decision highlights the tech giant's intensified focus on the region's digital market.

Focus on AI and Cloud Technologies Gabriela Popescu, who previously headed Microsoft's legal department in Central and Eastern Europe, steps into her new role with a clear objective: to accelerate digital transformation by implementing cloud technologies and responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI).

According to Microsoft's statement, the primary goal of the new leadership is to assist the public and private sectors in enhancing their global competitiveness through the use of AI.
