Among the participants of the international forum "Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan" (IFT 2026) held in Ashgabat are representatives of the Mogilev Railway Car Building Plant.
According to the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" news outlet, this enterprise, which is one of the leaders in the transport engineering industry of the Republic of Belarus, considers Turkmenistan as one of the priority areas for expanding cooperation.
Andrey Kharkevich, head of the marketing and sales department of the Mogilev Railway Car Building Plant, noted that the company, which is firmly established in the markets of Russia and Kazakhstan, sees great opportunities for establishing effective partnership in Turkmenistan.
"Our goal is to study the needs of the Turkmen market and offer the exact solutions required by local logistics companies. We plan to hold several meetings with representatives of the railway transport authorities and other relevant agencies," said Andrey Kharkevich.
The Mogilev plant specializes in the production of various types of freight cars. The annual production capacity of the enterprise is more than 2,500 cars, including grain hoppers, cement hoppers, and cars intended for transporting mineral fertilizers. The plant can also offer platforms and open cars for transporting timber and other large-scale construction materials as versatile transport solutions.
This year, the plant also plans to launch the production of covered freight cars.
A. Kharkevich hopes that the IFT 2026 exhibition and forum continuing in Ashgabat will be an important step for Belarusian machine builders in developing a new market.
