National Leader of the Turkmen People Arkadag Conducts a Working Visit to the City

The National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, visited Arkadag city, a clear example of the country’s urban development program being implemented in accordance with modern standards and high international indicators.

The Hero Arkadag inspected various buildings being constructed in the new city, including upgraded highways, bridges, and road infrastructure facilities. He also held a working meeting with relevant officials, as reported by “Watan” news agency.

The National Leader first observed the modern bridge at the intersection of Gokdepe and Akhan highways, paying attention to its structures and strength, offering remarks on quality, and recommending necessary adjustments. When constructing road infrastructure along central highways, the passage of heavy vehicles must be taken into account.

Later, Hero Arkadag moved towards the city center, stopping near social buildings of the second stage of the new city, where special attention is paid to residential and industrial facilities. He emphasized the importance of equipping social facilities, including educational and healthcare institutions, in line with modern requirements, highlighted the active use of innovative technologies and digital systems, and provided his recommendations.

Subsequently, the National Leader held a working meeting with the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan, D. Orazov, and the Mayor of Arkadag City, G. Mammedov.
