
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, delivered a congratulatory address via digital means to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on the occasion of the awarding of the Zayed International Prize for Human Fraternity. This was reported by the Watan news program.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that this award clearly confirms that the principles of mutual understanding and trust, strengthening interstate dialogue, as well as the ability to overcome obstacles in the pursuit of peace and stability, represent highly important, effective, and forward-looking approaches to addressing the complex challenges and tasks of the modern era. He also emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches great respect and special importance to the development of relations with the Republics of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“I am confident that the awarding of the Sheikh Zayed Prize will serve as an inspiring impetus for consistently upholding at the global level the high values of good-neighborly traditions, the philosophy of peace, trust, and dialogue based on mutual respect,” the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan stated.
In conclusion of his congratulatory message, the National Leader of the Turkmen people took the opportunity to wish the recipients of the prestigious international award strong health, well-being, and great success in their responsible activities, as well as enduring peace, happiness, and prosperity to the peoples of neighboring countries, and well-being and peace to all peoples of the world.
