
This was noted during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held yesterday via digital system. As reported in the "Watan" news program, positive experiences are being successfully implemented in the country regarding the protection of human health, the construction of scientific-clinical centers, hospitals, sanatoriums, and pharmaceutical enterprises meeting the international requirements of the WHO, the development of medical sciences, and the strengthening of international cooperation. This contributes to further improving the health status of the population, developing global scientific-medical diplomacy based on advanced medical science and practice, and strengthening the country's international prestige in this field. In this regard, the Vice-Premier submitted a relevant proposal to the Head of State.
After listening to the report by Vice-Premier B. Mammedov on the ongoing work to develop scientific-medical diplomacy in the country, the President of Turkmenistan stated that effective and comprehensive measures are being implemented to develop medical science and strengthen international cooperation in this area. The Head of State instructed the Vice-Premier to carry out the necessary work to prepare the "National Strategy for the Development of Scientific-Medical Diplomacy in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052."
