April promises to be productive for Turkmen-Chinese business relations. On March 13, a presentation of the Turkmen-Chinese Business Forum, to be held in Ashgabat from April 28–30, took place in Beijing. This meeting demonstrated the growing interest of Chinese businesspeople in the region and the transition to a stage of specific projects.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People's Republic of China, Parahat Durdyev, briefed Chinese entrepreneurs on the country's macroeconomic situation. The main message was stability and incentives, which turn Turkmenistan into a reliable hub for long-term investments.
The presentation provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan was clear and practical. Chinese partners were offered opportunities to participate not only in trade but also in creating value-added chains:
The forum, organized jointly with the China Overseas Development Association (CODA), concluded with B2B meetings. During these, the presentation part was replaced by detailed questions about logistics, insurance, and joint ventures. This confirms that the forum in Ashgabat will be not just an exhibition of achievements, but a platform for real negotiations.
