New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Revealed Ahead of Premiere

The exterior of the facelifted Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan was revealed ahead of its official premiere on January 29. The photo was published on the Cochespias portal.

The model will feature a fresh design, upgraded multimedia system, and improved comfort functions. The main innovation is the Drive Pilot autopilot. The current system is limited to 95 km/h, while the updated version allows the car to drive autonomously up to 110 km/h.

The new Drive Pilot system includes modern sensors, cameras, radars, and lidars for enhanced accuracy and safety. Mercedes notes the improvements are especially noticeable on long routes and high-speed highways.

The update will only be available for new S-Class models; existing vehicles will retain the 95 km/h limit and cannot receive the new hardware components.
