New Nissan Sylphy Unveiled in China: Futuristic Design Meets Reliable 1.6L Engine

The Dongfeng Nissan joint venture has launched the new generation of the Sylphy sedan, the brand's best-selling model in China. Starting at just 94,900 yuan ($13,200), the 2026 Sylphy showcases a "space-age" design inspired by the N7 EV flagship, featuring matrix LED headlights and an illuminated logo. Inside, it boasts a dual 12,3-inch display setup powered by a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 SoC. Despite its futuristic looks, the powertrain remains practical: a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine delivering 135 hp, paired with a CVT, offering fuel efficiency of 5.6–5.9 L/100 km.
