The President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree aimed at improving the water supply of oil refineries and introducing modern technologies into production. According to the document, the "Türkmennebit" State Concern will sign a contract with the "Nur Mimar" Economic Society for the construction of new production facilities in the city of Turkmenbashy, Balkan province.
Key features of the project:
- New "Kenar" Pumping Station: A new station will be built to enhance the water supply system of the Turkmenbashy Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR).
- Seawater Desalination Plant: A modern facility capable of desalinating 15,000 cubic meters of water per day will be designed and built. The plant will be equipped with advanced machinery meeting international standards.
- Timeline: Construction work is scheduled to begin in June of this year. The complex of facilities is expected to be fully commissioned in June 2029.
- Financing: The project will be implemented at the expense of the "Türkmennebit" State Concern's own funds.
This investment project will not only increase the production capacity of TCOR but also pave the way for the efficient use of the most modern and environmentally friendly technologies in the region. The involvement of a local private company in such a large-scale construction project is proof of the growing strength of the country's construction and engineering sectors.
