New sport-design Toyota Camry version unveiled

The joint venture “GAC Toyota” has officially introduced in China the new sporty version of the popular Toyota Camry sedan — the Camry Sport Lite Glory Edition. The official price of the car is 194,800 yuan (about 27,890 USD). However, considering special discounts and trade-in programs, the price may drop to around 130,000 yuan (about 18,610 USD).

Exterior and design features

The Camry Sport Lite Glory Edition stands out with its distinctive design. Its key elements include a matte gray body color, glossy black radiator grille, darkened brand logo, and two-tone 18-inch wheels. The interior is finished entirely in black and equipped with modern features. It includes a 7-inch digital instrument panel, a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch display, and a panoramic roof.

Technical specifications

The new model is equipped with a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.0-liter gasoline engine producing 152 hp and an electric motor generating 113 hp.

Fuel efficiency is also impressive: according to the WLTC cycle, the car consumes only 4.5 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.
