Ashgabat is on the threshold of a major football event: on February 11, the Arkadag football club will face Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr team, led by world-famous Cristiano Ronaldo. While fans eagerly anticipate this historic match, the units of the Turkmenbashi Textile Complex are operating around the clock without interruption.
As part of preparations for the upcoming sporting event, special sports jerseys made from Turkmen cotton are being produced under the “Nusay” brand. The front of the jerseys features the team’s name, while the back displays the slogan of the year: “Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — the land of swift horses and noble aspirations.” Looking at the finished products, one can feel the support of the fans and the strength of the national textile industry, further reinforcing confidence in the national team’s victory.
However, the “Nusay” brand collection is not limited solely to products for a single sporting event. The enterprise has already reached the international level and produces items bearing FIFA and UFC logos. In addition to sports jerseys, it manufactures sportswear highly appreciated by professional athletes and those who lead an active lifestyle.
It is not easy to imagine the complex journey that every centimeter of fabric undergoes. To grasp the scale of the work, it is enough to look at the industrial complex, which covers a total area of 230,000 square meters. The high quality of the products lies in the attention to detail.
Textile production begins with raw materials: cotton delivered from the regions of the country goes through complex technological stages before turning into soft fabric. One of the most important stages is yarn starching, which makes the fibers strong and resistant to wear.
The fabric is then sent to the dyeing department — the main center of decorative processing. Technological capabilities allow up to 12 colors to be used simultaneously, enabling craftsmen to apply any patterns and graphic designs to the fabric.
Such equipment also makes it possible to create unique homewear collections. Pajama sets made from a combination of soft knitwear and fabric are a true gift for those who value comfort and durability.
The complex, which includes five production units, operates continuously in three shifts. Strict quality control is maintained at every stage of production, ensuring that consumers can fully trust the quality of products made from 100% natural Turkmen cotton. Each item is manually inspected by specialists before packaging.
“Nusay” branded products are a symbol of achievements made in Turkmenistan. New collections and sportswear can be purchased at “Nusay” stores, at the “Altyn Asyr” shopping center, and online at the “Nusay-shop” web store, where a wide range of products, including pajama sets and bed linen, is available.
