DECREE of the President of Turkmenistan on the creation of the Ministry of Highways of Turkmenistan

In order to further improve the management of the highway industry of the country in the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, I decree:

1. To abolish the State Agency for Highway Construction Management and establish the Ministry of Highways of Turkmenistan on its basis.
2. To define the Ministry of Highways of Turkmenistan as the legal successor of the abolished State Agency for Highway Construction Management.
3. The Ministry of Highways of Turkmenistan, together with the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, and the Ministry of Adalat (Justice) of Turkmenistan, shall:
   • Prepare and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan the draft Regulations of the Ministry, the structure of the central office, as well as the staffing table and salary scales for executives;
   • Prepare proposals for amendments and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Decree within a one-month period and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers.

To appoint Gayypov Muratberdi Kuvatmuradovich as the Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, releasing him from the post of Deputy Minister of Health and Medical Industry for the organization of treatment and preventive care.

  • Release Yazmuradov Guvanchmyrat Orazmyradovich from the post of Hyakim of Tejen district for failing to fulfill his assigned duties.
  • Appoint Charyyev Kerven Allaberdiyevich as the Hyakim of Tejen district.
• Balkan Province:
  • Appoint Mergenov Meylis Mergenovich as the Hyakim of Magtymguly district.
