Official Website of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow Charity Foundation Launched

The official website of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow Charity Foundation for Supporting Orphaned and Needy Children – hemayat.gov.tm – has been launched.

The platform was created to make the work of the Foundation as open and accessible as possible to Turkmen citizens and international partners. The website provides information about the Foundation’s mission and areas of activity, news, photo and video materials, useful advice, and contact details.

The Foundation was established in March 2021 at the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow. Its main tasks include providing comprehensive support to children deprived of parental care, financing complex medical operations and treatments, conducting rehabilitation and recovery programs, assisting in social adaptation, and developing international cooperation to protect children’s rights.

Over four years, the Foundation has assisted hundreds of children, financed more than 700 surgical operations and rehabilitation programs, and implemented numerous charitable projects both in Turkmenistan and abroad. The Foundation opened a branch in the Awaza National Tourist Zone, actively cooperates with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and continues to expand its partnerships.

The organization regularly supports pediatric hospital departments across the country, providing them with modern emergency vehicles, hemodialysis equipment, and specialized medical equipment. Under the Foundation’s supervision, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow Children’s Rehabilitation and Recovery Center in Arkadag city operates, along with similar medical and educational facilities in the capital and other regions.
