On August 13, 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and concurrently to the Sultanate of Oman, Muhammetgeldi Ayazow, met with Rasul Guliayev, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of "DUX Middle East (FZC) LLC", a company registered in the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the main areas of the company's activities. Rasul Guliayev provided information about the work of the company he leads and stated that he is interested in petroleum products produced in Turkmenistan, including products manufactured at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.

It was noted that the meeting also discussed the capabilities of Turkmenistan's oil and gas sector, issues related to producing high-quality petroleum products, and expanding their export routes.

Ambassador Muhammetgeldi Ayazow, in turn, briefed on the work being carried out in Turkmenistan's oil and gas sector and drew attention to the opportunities being created for developing international cooperation.

He also announced that the 31st International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – OGT 2026" will be held in the city of Ashgabat on October 21–23, 2026. The Ambassador invited Omani businessman Rasul Guliayev to participate in this major international event.

The upcoming international forum is expected to serve as an important platform for widely introducing the capabilities of Turkmenistan's oil and gas sector to foreign businesses and companies, establishing new cooperative ties, and increasing export opportunities.
