On February 20, 2026, a working meeting was held at the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan with Stephen Conlon, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the prospects and opportunities of Turkmen-British cooperation in the field of migration. According to the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, the sides discussed priority areas of Turkmen-British cooperation. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that the migration cooperation between the two states would continue to develop harmoniously and wished success in the significant work carried out in this direction. Additionally, on February 19, 2026, a working meeting was held at the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan with Andrei Iovu, an expert from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
