In the Year of “Independent, Ever Neutral Turkmenistan — the Land of Bountiful Pastures,” effective work is being carried out to strengthen food security, support private producers in the poultry sector, and increase the production of poultry meat and eggs.
Member of the Turkmenistan Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Khojamyrat Khojanyazov, has made a significant contribution to these efforts, gaining extensive experience in cultivating feed crops and raising laying hens. The accumulated experience is a valuable asset, enhancing efficiency and helping achieve planned tasks on time.
In the year of the 35th anniversary of the country’s Independence, the entrepreneur actively uses a 500-hectare plot allocated by the state for long-term cultivation in Kaka district of Ahal Region. Annually, 230 hectares are planted with canola, and another 230 hectares with triticale and other feed crops. Crop care is conducted according to agrotechnical standards, ensuring high yields that serve as valuable feed for poultry and form the foundation of the farm’s feed supply.
At the poultry farm in Ak Bugday district, Ahal Region, 140,000 laying hens are raised. More than 120,000 eggs are produced daily and delivered to trade outlets after ecological processing.
Strong local production reduces food imports, increases the competitiveness of domestic products, and facilitates successful exports. The positive results clearly demonstrate the farm’s effectiveness. Each month, 10–15 million eggs are exported abroad.
Entrepreneur Khojamyrat Khojanyazov plans to further modernize technologies and improve organizational practices at the poultry farm in the near future.
