More than 190,000 tourists from Turkmenistan traveled to Uzbekistan during the first seven months of 2026 (January–July), according to data released by the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
In total, 192,830 Turkmen citizens visited the neighboring country during this reporting period, placing Turkmenistan 7th among the top foreign nations sending visitors to Uzbekistan.
The top five sources of visitors to Uzbekistan were Kyrgyzstan (2,177,000), Kazakhstan (1,855,000), Tajikistan (1,728,000), Russia (710,800), and Afghanistan (281,200). China ranked sixth just ahead of Turkmenistan, with 269,700 tourists.
Overall, 7,749,300 foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan in the first seven months of this year. This represents a 22.6% increase compared to the same period last year.
