The first stage of the IV Integrated Olympiad "Talented Descendants of Oguz Khan," conducted by the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan among 9th-12th grade students, has concluded.
This year, the Olympiad gathered more than 20,000 high school students from across the country, who demonstrated their knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and logical thinking skills. Organizers noted that the number of participants exceeded expectations, highlighting the growing interest of students in science and the popularity of the competition.
Participants include winners of major scientific project contests and national and international Olympiads. Currently, the district-level evaluation is finalized, and preparations are underway for Phase II, which will take place on April 8.
The Olympiad is traditionally held in Turkmen and English in three stages: district, regional, and national levels. Students who successfully pass the first two stages will be invited to Ashgabat for the final stage in June at the university campus.
