President of Turkmenistan Congratulates Servicemen on Defender of the Fatherland Day

The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, sent congratulations to servicemen and law enforcement officers on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day.

The message emphasizes that this holiday symbolizes the state’s trust in military personnel who protect the country’s independence, permanent neutrality, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, while ensuring national security.

“This historic date glorifies the aspirations of our courageous ancestors to establish an independent state. Together with our people, we will celebrate the sacred holiday of our Independence with high organization and spirit. Systematic measures will be implemented to promote the meaning and value of the nation’s main holiday,” noted the Supreme Commander.

S. Berdimuhamedov also highlighted the special attention given to the living conditions, service, and well-being of the defenders of the Fatherland and their families. Modernizing the material and technical base of military and law enforcement agencies and creating favorable conditions for service and rest remain key priorities of Turkmenistan’s state policy and military reforms.

At the end of the message, the President wished the defenders of the Fatherland good health, family well-being, and great success in service.
