President of Turkmenistan Expresses Condolences to the Leadership of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

The Esteemed President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, sent a letter of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in connection with an explosion that occurred at a mosque in the city of Islamabad, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries.

“Turkmenistan firmly condemns all forms of terrorism and extremism and fully supports the efforts of the international community to combat and eliminate this threat,” the letter states.

At this difficult moment, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as personally, the Head of State expressed sincere condolences and words of support to the families and relatives of the victims, and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
