President of Turkmenistan Held a Working Meeting on the Digital System
On June 23, 2025, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev and the hyakims (governors) of the velayats. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH). The agenda focused on current issues related to the country's agricultural sector and the progress of seasonal work in the regions.
The meeting began with a report from the Hyakim of Ahal Velayat, T. Nurmyradov, who spoke about the wheat harvest, agrotechnical care of cotton fields, collection of vegetables and melons, and the construction of facilities scheduled for completion this year. The President emphasized the importance of conducting the harvest in a timely and loss-free manner, and of strictly adhering to agricultural techniques for cotton care.
Next, the Hyakim of Balkan Velayat, H. Ashyrmyradov, reported that local grain producers had already harvested over 80,000 tons of wheat, successfully fulfilling the regional plan. On behalf of the population, he expressed gratitude to the respected Arkadag and the President for creating favorable working conditions. The President congratulated the farmers and instructed that the harvest be completed in an organized manner, while also ensuring high-quality construction of social and industrial facilities.
Hyakim of Dashoguz Velayat, D. Babaev, reported on the wheat harvest, care for cotton and rice crops, as well as the implementation of tasks outlined in national programs. The President emphasized the need to strictly adhere to the schedule of agrotechnical activities and to monitor the fulfillment of socio-economic development plans.
Hyakim of Lebap Velayat, M. Annanepesov, provided information on the pace of grain harvesting, field plowing, planting, and agrotechnical maintenance of cotton, potatoes, vegetables, and rice. The President instructed to accelerate the harvesting process and to pay attention to the quality of construction work.
Hyakim of Mary Velayat, B. Orazov, reported on the wheat harvest, planting of sugar beet, agrotechnical measures in the fields, and the progress of construction projects. The head of state stressed the importance of using equipment efficiently and completing all seasonal work on time.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, T. Atahallyev, delivered a summary report on the situation across the country. It was noted that the wheat harvest is proceeding in an organized manner, agricultural machinery is being used effectively, and the collection of vegetables and melons is progressing steadily. The planting of rice and sugar beet also continues.
After hearing the reports, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined the importance of ensuring high quality at all stages of agricultural production, adherence to agrotechnical standards, and the effective implementation of state programs.
