President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov: — With our unity, we will reach all milestones!

Today — March 19 — marks four years since our esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was elected by the people as the Head of State and took office. Under the leadership of the Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the initiatives established by the Hero-Arkadag are being worthily continued in independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan.

On March 12, 2022, the presidential elections, conducted on a broad competitive basis in accordance with national electoral legislation and recognized international legal norms, became clear evidence of our country’s confident progress along the path of democratic reforms. The citizens of Turkmenistan enthusiastically supported the Hero-Arkadag’s initiative to advance young leaders with innovative minds, high education, and broad horizons, capable of taking responsibility for the country's fate. Thus, candidate Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s victory with a majority of votes opened a new chapter in the history of the Motherland, becoming a state-level event demonstrating the continuous link between eras and generations.

According to Article 68 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, the President of Turkmenistan is the head of state and the executive power, the highest-ranking official of Turkmenistan. He acts as the guarantor of state independence, permanent Neutrality status, territorial integrity, and the observance of the Constitution and human rights. In his inauguration speech on March 19, 2022, at the Ruhyyet Palace, the President emphasized that the great trust placed in him by the people mandates him to work diligently for the prosperity of the Turkmen state, the well-being of citizens, and the happy future of generations.

In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, higher goals have been set. The primary goals include ensuring the peace, security, and socio-economic development of the Motherland, further improving the people's standard of living, and strengthening global peace and mutual trust. The Head of State emphasized that he relies on the unity and wisdom of the people to achieve these goals. The principle "The Motherland is the Motherland only with its people! The State is the State only with its people!" proclaimed by the esteemed President, has defined the essence of the socially-oriented state policy.

Turkmenistan continues its policy of Neutrality, demonstrating its commitment to principles of peacebuilding and good-neighborliness. Key achievements include the UN General Assembly adopting the Resolution on the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan for the third time and declaring 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust."

The publication of Arkadagly Hero Serdar’s book "Neutrality of Turkmenistan — A Bright Path of Peace and Trust" was a wonderful gift for the 30th anniversary of Neutrality. The state places great importance on economic modernization, digital technology integration, and supporting the private sector.

At the end of 2025, the GDP growth rate was 6.3%. In 2026, it is planned to commission more than 900,000 square meters of housing. Systems of health, education, and sports are actively developing. Arkadag City, the first "smart" city in the region, has received significant international recognition.

Thus, under the leadership of the esteemed President, all high goals will be successfully achieved. As long-term experience shows, the Turkmen people, acting in unity, are capable of realizing large-scale plans for the benefit of current and future generations.
