To further enhance the country's economic potential and strictly maintain food independence, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has signed a new historic Decree. According to the document, a State Commission for the organized conduct of the 2026 grain harvest has been established, and its composition has been approved.

The main tasks facing the State Commission are as follows:

  • Ensuring the collection of the grown wheat crop in the shortest possible time and without loss.
  • Coordinating transportation for the smooth delivery of the harvest, and operating elevators and reception points 24/7 at full capacity.
  • Achieving high-level settlements with leaseholders and grain producers within the specified deadlines.

This historic document will serve as a major step forward in taking Turkmenistan's agricultural sector to new heights and ensuring the abundance of our people's food supply.
