Production Indicators Steadily Rising in Turkmenistan's Provinces – A Brief Overview

Industrial enterprises, the energy sector, and the oil and gas industry in Turkmenistan's provinces achieved high performance results in the first month of 2026. According to the "Türkmenistan" newspaper, production indicators in several sectors have increased manifold compared to the same period last year.

Ahal: The "Gallaönümleri" enterprise in the Kaka district of Ahal province performed work worth over 7.9 million manats in January 2026. This figure is 190.5% higher compared to the same period last year. The enterprise specializes in producing bread and bakery products from high-quality wheat flour.

Balkan: The "Nebitgazçykaryş" trust fulfilled the oil production plan by 107.69% in January, extracting 334.2 thousand tons of raw materials. The most active operations were conducted at oil and gas-condensate wells in the western part of the country.

Dashoguz: The provincial state power plant produced 174.6 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in January 2026. This indicator is significantly higher than the 94.3 million kWh produced during the same period in 2025. Consumers in the province were fully supplied with electricity.

Lebap: The "Lebap Altyn asyr Türkmen köl gurluşyk" department received new construction and road machinery from the German-Chinese company "Sitrak" and the Chinese company "Shantui." A total of 35 units were delivered, including 24 excavators, 7 bulldozers, and 4 amphibious vehicles. This equipment will be used for cleaning and maintaining irrigation canals across the province.

Mary: The housing management department of the city of Bayramaly fulfilled the plan for January–February 2026 ahead of schedule. In 2025, the department's specialists repaired and restored the roofs of 710 residential buildings. Currently, maintenance of heating systems and city beautification works are underway.
