
On March 4, 2026, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People's Republic of China, P. Durdyyev, and the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Mr. Liu Bin. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged detailed views on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China. The sides specifically emphasized the importance of the consistent development of successfully established cooperation in all areas and the significance of the close dialogue maintained between the leaders of the two countries.
In the course of the conversation, it was specially noted that Turkmen-Chinese relations are based on long-standing ties of friendship and brotherhood, shared spiritual and cultural values, as well as the principles of peace, mutual respect, and humanism. In this regard, it was emphasized that there are extensive opportunities for further strengthening cooperation in political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian fields.
It was also noted that continuing harmonious and mutually supportive relations within the framework of international organizations fully aligns with the common interests of both countries. At the same time, the parties confirmed the strategic nature of the relations between the two states and expressed comprehensive interest in their further development.
