Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met today with Serhan Aktoprak, Head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Kazakhstan and IOM Coordinator for Central Asia.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the meeting provided a platform for exchanging views on critical issues including migration process management, the protection of migrants' rights, and the enhancement of regional cooperation.

During the discussions, both parties emphasized the vital importance of considering environmental processes and sustainable development principles in the Caspian region within the framework of international and regional cooperation.
