Real Madrid has officially renewed its contract with Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior, according to an announcement on the Spanish club's official website.

The new agreement with the 26-year-old forward will keep him at the club until 2032.

Media reports had previously indicated that Vinícius requested an €80 million renewal bonus and sought to increase his image rights share from 50% to 80%. Additional rumors in late July linked London's Arsenal to the player, with reports claiming a preliminary personal agreement and a €135 million transfer bid submitted to Real Madrid.

Vinícius has been playing for Real Madrid since the summer of 2018, with his previous contract set to expire in mid-2027. During his tenure in Madrid, he has won three La Liga titles and two UEFA Champions League trophies, and was recognized as FIFA's Best Player of the Season in 2024.
